Assalam alaikom and blessed Friday!
The weather is AMAZING Mashallah! I’m enjoying every second of the Swedish summer so far. The last 2 days have been very warm and sweaty. But sitting at home, dressed in airy clothes with the windows and balcony door open is life! I love the fresh wind that hits my body every time. This is Swedish summer at it’s finest Alhamdolillah.
Yesterday I invited my precious mother and my sisters for a breakfast at my balcony. I prepared a “hotel inspired breakfast” and we enjoyed eating it at the balcony. We had such a lovely time and talked a lot about everything between sky and earth.
I never thought that I’d reach a point in my life where I’d be so close to my mother and my sisters. But I guess that’s the part of maturing and getting older. Mom and my sisters are like my best friends. We missed my older sister though. We used to be very close and she used to be like my twin. she lives in Canada now with her husband and son. I pray that we will meet soon Inshallah.
Weather is amazing, life is good and I’m now heading out to my parents apartment. We are getting dressed and all dolled up to attend our neighbors daughters graduation party! I look forward to dance and have a great time!
Graduation in Sweden is such a Big thing. (only senior high school though and not University). I can’t believe that I graduated in 2011, time really flies!
