My “Before I turn 30” digital dream board

So after that I wrote my latest post “I’ve been lost in 3 years” I decided to move forward in life and to pick up from where I left. In 2024 I’ll turn 30 Inshallah (if I live to that day) and my goal is to achieve some things, starting from now to that day. I used to make DIY crafting dream boards when I was younger, but since I’m living my life in boxes now, I decided to make a digital one this year. That would be easier than carrying one around with me. Even though crafting is more fun than illustrating a digital one, but this is what I have to work with right now. I made a very simple digital dream board in Adobe Illustrator and put it as my background picture for my desktop. This would be the perfect place to have it on, since I’m using my laptop a 100 times during the day.

I divided my dreams/goals into 4 different categories: Big dreams in the color green, medium dreams in the color purple, small dreams in the color blue and lastly fun dreams in the color yellow.

The fun and easy part about this (let’s call it a project), which I love, was to make and illustrate this dream board. The boring part, which I don’t love as much, is to make a plan and to start DOING things so I can achieve these goals and dreams. I know myself very well. I know that I enjoy doing the fun part of all the projects I always come up with and I leave when it’s starting to get boring, hard or unstimulating. But I’m trying to change Inshallah. So I decided to put up some inspiring quotes on top of my dream board on my desktop, to still be motivated and to keep going and never stop dreaming!

Now the second step is to actually make a plan so I can achieve my dreams Inshallah. I’m working on it right now because I want it to be as realistic as possible, and as achievable as possible as well. I tend to go all in and act as a superwoman and that’s not sustainable at all for a long term plan. So, I’ll make sure to set up a good plan now that I know my strength and weaknesses after all these years of getting to know myself better. Wish me good luck!
