I’m originally from Syria and we don’t have a hennah party before the wedding or anything hennah related in our culture. But since I don’t really follow any Syrian traditions I was excited about doing hennah for my wedding day. I’m not a big fan of red or brown hennah though. I love black hennah but I felt that it was not suitable for my wedding day. I associate black hennah with Eid celebrations. So I decided to do a white hennah for my wedding day.

The only negative thing about white hennah is that it doesn’t last for a long time. But I absolutely love how it turned out and I’m so happy that I did it!
