Being a mother is exhausting! I’m so tired all the time. It doesn’t matter how much we try to work as a team (me and my husband) we are lacking so much sleep. Both of us.
We try to do “night shifts”. So my husband takes care of Rayan for 3 hours, during the night, and I get some sleep, and vice versa. But I still feel like I don’t get enough sleep anyway. And during the day, I prefer to do house chores and other stuff instead of sleeping. Sometimes when I get REALLY tired, I just leave everything and I go to sleep. With that said. My energy level is super low and I don’t have the energy to do anything besides the house chores, eating and praying. Even cooking takes so much time. The other day it took me 3 hours (!) to complete a meal!! Can you imagine!?
Being a mother is very special though. I was so stupid who always said that I NEVER want to have kids. Kids are the most adorable creatures on planet earth. I love my son so much. Words can’t describe how much I love him 😍
But being a mother is also hard work. And having children is not only fun, you are responsible for a human being. You have to raise them properly. I’m so concerned about that part. As a mother, I want to do everything perfectly but there is nothing like that. No one is perfect. I guess we’ll do our best and that’s all we can do.
Now being Rayans mother is very special. He is a premature baby and we are learning so much together. We entered a program for premature babies so we have a physiotherapist visiting us once a month. It’s so fun! She look at Rayans development, she takes pictures of me and him and she writes monthly reports. It will be so much fun to see how he is growing each month until he gets 1 years old, that’s when the program ends.
Rayan is now almost 3 months old (but only almost 1 month old correcting age). We’ve been in our baby bubble for 3 months and I’m really longing to have a friend. Maybe another mother. That would be so much fun. Anyway, I hope to meet someone soon Inshallah!
