I LOVE food. Food is amazing and delicious. Moving around and living an unstable lifestyle, we do eat a lot at restaurants or get take aways. It shouldn’t necessarily be like that but we do love to eat food and to try out new restaurants very much. If you want to make me happy, take me out to have food at a restaurant. I’d be more than happy!! 😃

I always visit Tripadvisor to look for new Halal restaurants when traveling, but honestly, nothing beats all the Halal food instagram accounts. Instagram is my favorite social media app and you can literally find everything over there. Thanks to the accounts like @halalfoodsv, @halalfoodstockholm and @malmofoodhunters it’s so much easier to look for Halal restaurants. I’m sure there are more accounts like these that targets food around the world.

I found this account called @halalfoodcopenhagen the other day when we drove to Copenhagen. This restaurant/cafeteria called @grandcafecph caught my attention, and I’m happy it did! Because let me tell you how delicious that food was!!! They offer brunch, pasta, shawarma, manaish, burgers, deserts and much more.

Our order: Chicken shawarma plate, meze plate (with either falafel or kebbeh, you choose) and Shish tawook plate.

Listen, I love food and I enjoy food that tastes good. I’m not picky when it comes to food and I eat almost everything and I KNOW what tastes good and what tastes bad. Because God blessed me with the super power of amazingly taste buds that functions very well! No kidding. That’s my talent and my super power.

The falafel was TAMAM 👌🏼 There are a lot of falafel shops everywhere but honestly, not all of them tastes good. So this was absolutely delicious Mashallah. The shawarma was good too. And the fries, AH MY GAAAHD Daliiiciouuuus!!! I loved the tabbouleh too and the entire meze plate in general. (except the hummus. I hate hummus and will never ever like it. I do ALWAYS taste it wherever I go, hoping that MAYBE I will like it this time or that it will taste better, but I always end up hating it again and again.)

With that said. This is my favorite restaurant in Copenhagen so far. Delicious food, good service and ok pricing. Not too cheap and not too expensive.
