Me and my lovely family were invited to our friend’s wedding. The wedding was a bit different from the usual big arab weddings we usually attend. It was a wedding with mixed cultures and very multicultural.
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and very well planned! (My younger sister helped with all the wedding preparations and I must say that she did a wonderful job!) And the place was very beautiful too. The wedding took place in an area close to nature, flowers, and trees. The bride was so elegant Mashallah and I’m very happy for the newlyweds.
The weather was amazing when we were standing outdoors during the mingle. But It was a bit hot inside with our long-sleeved dresses and hijabs. Our make up melted and our faces were shining from all the sweat 😂😅
I was enjoying every second of the party. The food was delicious, we had a three course meal. And I enjoyed the company at the table I was sitting at. A few relatives, family and closed friends gave speeches and then we played Kahoot. The questions were about the bride and the groom of course and the price was to be invited to dinner at their place. We had so much fun and a beautiful young couple won the contest.
Later, it was time for cake and coffee and the bride and grooms first dance. I usually don’t like cakes at weddings, they are never tasty. I even skipped the cake on my wedding but this cake! Woah it as DALICIOUUUS! We wrote happy gratulations and wishes in the guest book and then it was time to drive back home.
