Where do I start?! First of all, this party was so much needed after all this Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions. It felt like people had so much energy in their bodies that they just had to let it all out.
We followed the restrictions of course and there were only 50 people at the party, 5 seats at each table perfectly organized with name tags. The hall was very big though and is usually meant for wedding parties. It felt like a wedding with all the decorations, flowers, balloons and table settings. The program was to dance, to eat (the food was served on the tables to avoid queue and congestion at a buffet), to dance some more, to eat the cake and sweets and to dance even more. I don’t even remember what the food tasted like to be honest because all I wanted to do was just to dance! I didn’t eat any cake either.
I danced nonstop for like 4,5 hours and It felt AMAZING! The chairs were empty during the entire party and we were all enjoying ourselves on the dance floor. The high heels were at every corner on the floor too and we went ALL IN when they announced the last song for the night.
The girl who graduated is Swedish-Moroccan and I absolutely enjoyed the playlist since I love listening to French-Moroccan music. The best music to dance to in my opinion.
So, Alhamdolillah for this great experience, it was very much needed as I said. I’m happy that I got invited to the party, got all dressed up, did a full face make up, met amazing people and danced the night away! That’s that about the weekend. It’s Monday now and it’s back to business.
I wish us all a happy and productive week Inshallah!
