I honestly never thought that I would do something like that. A social media content plan? That sounds too serious and social media is just about having fun and posting when you are feeling for it, right? Well, that’s what I thought. The thing is that the more I write about my thoughts here on my BlogPod, the more I get to know myself better, which is amazing! I’ve written about my problems with consistency and about feeling lost. I always sit down and reflect after reading my posts and listening to my audio files. It’s like therapy for me. And when I read and listen to my thoughts out loud, I get a different perspective of things. It’s like someone else is talking to me, and sometimes we listen to others more than we listen to ourselves.
So, I decided to make a social media content plan. Because I want to be consistent and because I want to change. I want to achieve my goals and I want to see results, not only dream about them. My social media content plan will help me manage my BlogPod, my two Instagram accounts (my personal one and the “Support your muslim” one) my YouTube channel and getting track of my Google Adsense account and how to improve it.
Social media has changed throughout the year, just like YouTube. I used to have a YouTube channel back in 2013 and I can see a huge change when it comes to social media. Nowadays, social media is more about making content that stands out from the crowd, sharing stories, skills, selling a product and so on. It’s about getting recognition for something you like doing, and maybe starting a new business just like thousands of youths have done through the TikTok app. The possibilities are endless. And why not getting paid for doing something you like as well? Just like turning a hobby into a business?
Let’s see how far this social media content plan will take me. I’ve written a hundred to do lists in my life because it’s fun and satisfying. Not because I like to do what’s on the lists 😂 So I just hope and pray that I will stick to this plan. Only time will tell 😅
