Assalam alaikom!
I hope y’all had an amazing Eid with your loved ones. I spent the first day of Eid with my husband and family. Me and my husband drove to my family’s place where we prepared together for a family brunch at a big park outdoors. The weather was amazing Alhamdolillah. We spent the entire morning eating, talking, laughing and playing games. In the afternoon we gathered at my parents house where we handed out gifts, talked and just relaxed. We had no dinner since we were all stuffed from the brunch earlier.
Me and my husband spent the second day of Eid together. We had dinner at an Afghan restaurant called Gambit. The food was delicious. And then we drove back home, bought some snacks on or way back and spent the entire evening watching a movie and just chilling.
The third day of Eid we had breakfast at my parents house. We played some nintendo switch with my 3 sisters and had some fun, before we got dressed and drove a good 30 minutes to eat at a restaurant with 2 other families. We had dinner at Lezzet, a Turkish restaurant. They also offer breakfast every Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast and the dinner was delicious in my opinion. But the restaurant could work on their service since it’s ZERO! They were very unfriendly which is a pity since the food is great and the place is amazing.
I hope your Eid was amazing as well and don’t forget to keep our brothers and sisters in Palestine in your prayers. My heart goes out to all the families that never got the chance to celebrate Eid this year. May Allah make it easier for them. Amin.
