Background story

I Used to have a Youtube channel back in 2013 and I had just started to explore the world of videos, videography and editing. I fell in love with it and my goal was to dig into the world of animations and start making movies. 

My mother was once walking down the street when she saw a poster about the person behind the company “Mokhtar Award” She told me he was coming to Sweden, and since i love editing, she said I should go and attend the workshop. I did. And I loved it.

I told myself that I will make a short movie and participate in the film festival that took place in Paris. 

I was patiently waiting for the next theme and checked their Youtube channel regularly until they announced it. Exil. A tough one and I tried to find a got story but I didn’t. 

It was only a couple of weeks until deadline and I made a weird story about Exile that I recorded in a short amount of time. It was horrible to be honest and I didn’t expect it to win at all. I just wanted to participate and that was enough for me.
